The January was a very busy time for us in Mayapur.....

It truly felt like coming home.....!
As every year it took a few days to settle in and get organised, and I was glad to have my two assistants Anna and Damodara-priya Matajis with me.

My visit to Mumbai had several purposes: first of all I was invited to conduct the course "Women in Spiritual Culture" at the newly opened temple in Mira Road, near Bhaktivedanta Hospital. Furthermore, I wanted to do a general health check-up at the hospital - something which I had not done for two years. And last but not least Vaisnavaseva Prabhu who is arranging the Desiretree website had requested to shoot several 10-minute youtube videos with me on various topics, in order to put them on his website.
On my arrival in Narayan Ganj on the 18th of November I was received by many enthusiastic devotees. It was my first visit after more than ten years, and meanwhile the devotees had arranged for nice and simple temple facilities with a boys' ashram and a guest room, and with Lord Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra being the Lords of the establishment. Ten years ago there was only a nama hatta center here.
I arrived in Dhaka on the 10th of November - just in time to get ready for the main festivals of the Kartik season: Govardhana Puja and Srila Prabhupada's disappearance. The Swamibag devotees were already busily engaged in arranging a big pandal and a stage in order to celebrate the upcoming events.
It was my second visit to Bangalore. I was scheduled to visit the two main temples of Seshadripuram and Giridhari Temple to offer a seminar to the ladies entitled "Marriage in Spiritual Culture" over two weekends.
It was wonderful to be once again in Vrindavan....
Since the Kartik month started very late this year, I had arranged to offer the course "Women in Spiritual Culture" to the ladies of the Vrindavan community and the visiting devotees - just before Kartik started. It was perfect timing since many devotees had arrived already, but the parikramas had not yet begun.

On my return to Goloka Dham we were busy making all the necessary arrangements to receive a nice group of male devotees who came from far and wide to attend the course "Men in Spiritual Culture - What Men Always Wanted to Know About Women". The group was mixed: some young devotees were there, and also some senior devotees from other yatras had made the effort to come. We had the good fortune to welcome the TP from Zurich/Swizzerland who also serves in the Euro RGB, one of the senior managers from Bhaktivedanta College in Radhadesh, and others from various parts of Germany.
The purpose of my visit to Almvik was to attend the wedding ceremony of Madhuri Radhika Mataji and Janananda Prabhu which took place on the 3rd of October. And at the same time I took the opportunity to apply for my Indian visa at the embassy in Stockholm.
Since Radhasthami fell on Monday, the 21st of September we had scheduled a Holy Name Retreat in Goloka Dham on the weekend leading up to this auspicious event. What better way to prepare for Srimati Radharani's appearance....! And Goloka Dham was the perfect place for such a retreat, since it is in such peaceful and secluded environment, and of course since Radha Madana Mohana are personally there.....!
